Moccatroller v1.8 J2ME - Control Your PC Apps

Moccatroller is a remote desktop application for mobiles, supporting Bluetooth and Internet connections.

Moccatroller has two parts: a Java application that runs on your PC or laptop, and a J2ME application that runs on your phone or PDA. The PC application requires a Java Runtime Environment, available for free from java.com or already installed on your computer.

Moccatroller lets you take control of the mouse, and to a certain extent the keyboard, of your computer. You can see exactly (albeit a smaller portion at a time) what is on your computers screen, and in many cases even hear the audio that the computer plays.

How is it useful?
Well let's take two examples: a powerpoint presentation and watching a movie.

Moccatroller will allow you to control your powerpoint presentation with your phone. So if you're giving a presentation in a large room, and prefer to stand at the back while your laptop is hooked up at the front of the room, you can control the presentation from the back of the room: flipping slides and just about anything else you want (all actions are customizable).

If you are away from home and don't have a tv, but you have a phone with a good data plan, you can set up your computer to allow internet access. You can even start and stop the player using your phone as a mouse, and navigate dvd menus or whatever you need to do. You can get picture and audio from the computer over the air to your phone anywhere you have a data connection.

The mobile application requires a Moccatroller server running on a PC available here:
