2009-03-29_222346 Facebook一直以来都是一个封闭的体系，它的数据外界是采集不到的，甚至Facebook还对搜索引擎进行了屏蔽。不过这种封闭的现象随着Facebook Connect的推出而终止了。有了Facebook Connect这个通用的平台，外界的网站可以有机地与Facebook结成一体，共享Facebook的会员关系网络以及地理位置等信息。甚至，Facebook还针对iphone专门开发了独立的Facebook Connect版本。

Facebook Connect有着相当广泛的应用，Facebook甚至可以通过这个平台切入到未来的在线支付业务领域。实际上Facebook已经在寻找机会推出自己的虚拟电子货币体系了。一旦这个电子货币体系推出，至少在Facebook内部，我们购买虚拟礼物的时候就不必再依赖信用卡进行繁琐的交易了。现在加上Facebook Connect这个强有力的翅膀，Facebook未来是极有可能成为网上交易的结算中心的。而这，是Paypal创立至今做梦都想实现的终级目标。

acebuck 虚拟货币的概念在Facebook内部并不是一个新鲜的概念，之前，已经有一个名为Acebucks的插件能够在Facebook上实现虚拟交易的功能。不过Facebook并没有将其升格为官方插件。Fecebook的目的是要自己推出官方正式的虚拟货币插件，该插件将来能够应用到包括Facebook自己在内的所有加入到Facebook Connect平台的网站上。

在网上进行小额支付最大的麻烦就是每次都需要走一个繁琐的信用卡支付流程。如果事先通过信用卡一次性购买一定数量的Facebook发行的虚拟货币，在将来购买任何支持Facebook Connect平台的网络商店里的商品的时候，我们只需要简单地点几下确认按钮就能够成功地进行交易了。每次交易的手续费虽然不高，但是在大量的支付数量基础上的手续费总额对Facebook来说将是一笔巨大的收入。

为什么说Facebook能够制造出互联网上公认的虚拟货币标准呢？至少是标准之一吧。因为Facebook为这个标准积累了大量的会员，而Facebook Connect又为这个标准带来了几乎没有数量限制的商户。一旦这个商业模式确立，虚拟货币的标准就一定是由Facebook来制定了。虚拟货币的发行数量，交易手续费的收取标准将都是由Facebook说了算的。可以肯定的是，由于Facebook巨大的会员和商户基数，以及Facebook在技术理念上的更胜一筹，交易手续费相比paypal一定是会低一些，并且整个支付过程相比较paypal的那一套而言，会更简单轻松。

想像一下，你某天想要买一罐红牛（红牛的网站加入了Facebook Connect），你可以直接从你的Facebook用户中心向红牛划账，你想给某个慈善机构捐款，你同样也可以在Facebook的用户中心李简单进行几步操作就行了。

在早些时候Paypal也曾经设想过建立一套标准的货币体系，甚至其设想要成为未来世界的货币标准。我们可以再2007年元月份的彭博资讯上看到这样一段话：

Thiel had grand ambitions for the company. "PayPal was the new currency for the world economy," he says. Like many young dot-commers, he believed the Internet would empower the individual. For Thiel, PayPal was all about freedom: It would enable people to skirt currency controls and move money around the globe.

但是paypal从来就没有真正成一种货币标准，实际上货币标准仍然是美元，而paypal只是一个支付手段。而这个缺陷导致了paypal不能有效地支持小额支付，因为每次支付，信用卡发行机构都会向paypal收取费用，即便是小额支付，paypal从来就是将这笔手续费传递给交易方的。

Facebook的虚拟货币发行的那一天即将到来，有了Facebook Connect这个平台的支撑，让我们期待它建立真正的在线支付标准吧。

本来是给你的老婆的私人信件，一不小心按错了，发给你的同事，岂不是很尴尬？如果你是用Gmail发送的话，现在不用担心了，Gmail允许你在一定的时间之内取消发送。这可真是为那些糊里糊涂的人准备的一份好礼物了。这个创意本来是一名Gmail的前员工Paul Buchheit在2007年提出来的，不知道为什么过了这么久Google才测试性地开放了这个有用的功能。需要开通这个功能的筒子们请点击Gmail Labs，然后选择激活"Undo Send"这一功能。

开启了这个"反悔"的功能之后，当你写完一封Email并按下发送键之后，"undo"的标识会出现在发信框的顶部，持续5秒钟。在这5秒钟里，Email实际上并未发送出去，你可以选择取消。当然，过了这5秒，"Undo" 就会消失，你的Email才真正发了出去。通常情况下，你的收信方是不太会注意到这5秒钟的细微差异的，按作为发信的一方，却会因此减少了很多不必要的错误。

我比较关心的是，这个功能出现之后，会不会让人养成更加不良的发信习惯？因为人人都可以反悔，谁知道发Email的时候会不会更加马虎呢？
